Departing from various pick up points we head towards Tahiche to visit the Cesar Manrique foundation, located in the old home of the magnificent Lanzarote-born artist. which contains different paintings and sculptures by different avant guarde artists plus work of his own. We then continue to the cactus Garden, a volcano-cone like area with hundreds of unique cactus species. We then go on to the monument to Peasants, a tribute to local farm workers, where we can see different pottery, basketwork, stonework and so on, created by local craftsmen, while we enjoy a light snack.
