We were collected from our pick up point on time by our coach and taken to Playa Blanca where we had time for a quick coffee before we boarded the fast ferry to corralejo, this only took 35 minutes. At corralejo we were greeted by our guide for the day and we got onto our coach, we set off at 9.40 and the guide gave us a brief description of our itinerary for the day, our first stop on the way to the south was a breathtaking view at 600m, the first village we visited is what used to be the old capital Betancuria which is a beautiful village, we visited a church and watched a multivision photography show which showed many different images of the island. We enjoyed a little cheese tasting, smoked goats cheese with bread cactus & mulberry jams, time to visit a few souvenir shops, before getting back onto the coach and heading to the aloe Vera factory which was extremely interesting, they were very informative and we had a look around the factory and we even bought some products from the shop. Back to the coach and we travelled for a short distance and we stopped for a lunch of chick-pea and pasta soup, roast chicken & potatoes, bread and a banana also included was wine and water. Back onto the coach and we headed to the beach where we could enjoy a swim in the sea or a walk on the beach or sand dunes, returning to the coach once again which took us back to the ferry for the crossing back to Playa Blanca, Lanzarote where we were then dropt off at our drop off point.
