Catamaran Sailing
Imagine the pleasure of boarding a luxury catamaran as you embark on the ideal sailing charter to the golden beaches of Papagayo!

Catlanza departs from Lanzarote’s Puerto Calero, the most exclusive and attractive marina in the Canary Islands. Our complimentary bus will collect you from your resort and bring you directly to the harbour. Here after a welcome from the crew, we leave the marina and sail towards the beaches of Papagayo.
Now is the time to start relaxing as the bar is open and drinks and fresh fruit are served. Sit back and enjoy the luxury of being one of Catlanza’s special guests.
For those who have always wanted to have a go at sailing a yacht, the captain and crew are delighted to encourage you to trim sails, take the helm and generally practice what you learned from our ‘Sailing Theory’ manual.
Arriving at the beautiful beaches of Papagayo, we drop anchor and it is time for a relaxing swim or snorkelling in the crystal clear waters. The more adventurous can enjoy a free jet-ski ride with our professional instructor.
As you dry off in the sun, lunch is served on board: a delicious meal of pasta with a choice of tuna or vegetarian sauce, salad, and bread and butter. After a final swim, we raise anchor and sail gently back along the coast to port. With a drink in your hand, you can look out for dolphins and pilot whales as the end to a perfect day…

LANZAROTES COMEDY DRAG THEATRE BAR

Departing from various pick up points we head toward the southern part of the island, passing through the village of Uga, we will travel to the FIRE Mountains for a camel ride.

We will then continue among volcanoes to visit the Timanfaya National Park, where we will enjoy geothermic demonstrations and we will follow the “Volcano Route”. We will then continue south to see the “Lava Coast”, including a panoramic view of the El Janubio salt mines, where Lanzarote inhabitants worked in the past, and “Los Hervideros”, engraved in the rock by sea and the wind. Lunch included in Yaiza, a town which has won awards for its beauty and integration in its surroundings. After lunch, we will cross the most important vine-growing area of Lanzarote, La Geria, a unique example of how a place has adapted to and made good use of its land characteristics (with a visit to a typical winery and enjoy a tasting session). We will continue towards the north, crossing Teguise (which used to be the island capital), Los Valleys and Haria (with a view of the Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees) and visiting “Los Jameos Del Agua”, a natural cave of great beauty adapted by magnificent artist Cesar Manrique, where we will see the home of the blind albino crabs that are unique to Lanzarote. Returning through Guatiza, seeing the Cacti plantations housing the cochineal which is used as a natural dye, and then on to different drop off points at approximately 6.pm

You will begin the day trolling along the coast for wahoo, tuna and dorado.  we then anchor and provide all fishermen with rod, tackle and bait fishing for barracuda, rays, shark, bream, mackerel and other typical canarian species. 

Our boats are fully equipped with radar, sonar and fishing equipment of the best brands.  The crew have a vast experience in these waters and will help both beginners and experienced fishermen alike.  Aqua tickets is one of the pioneers in lanzarote offering shark and big game fishing excursions.  They have been in operation from the beginning of the 90’s gaining the trust of both tourists and tour operators alike.

Set sail along the south of the island taking in the beautiful coastline of lanzarote until reaching our destination, the fantastic beaches of Papagayo.  Once there the Ocean Catt will drop anchor and the fun can really begin!!

You are invited to take a dip in the crystal clear waters, discover the secret of marine knots on board, use the snorkelling equipment provided.  Enjoy the water activities or simply choose to relax on the nets and soak up the canarian sunshine.  You have the opportunity to be taken to the beach of Papagayo.

On the return journey to Puerto Del Carmen we will be looking for dolphins and have the opportunity to see the exciting world of the marine life in its natural habitat.

We will teach you the basics of diving at one of the beautiful Lanzarote coves, and our qualified PADI instructors will you on a safe and exciting tour of the fringing island reefs.
